Life in a Northern Town

The weather forecast was awful again so we decided not to take the cable car up the mountain - but once again the forecast was completely wrong and it has been a glorious day,

We started at Helbrunn, where Sarah absolutely loved the trick fountains. Then we strolled through the zoo and saw some fabulous bears up close. Back to Salzburg for some beer and apfelstrudel, followed by the obligatory pony and trap ride, then pasta for dinner and a sunset walk. There may have been a few mojitos too.

Salzburg has been amazing, I can highly recommend a visit, although perhaps not in the summer when it must be stiflingly hot. We have had temperatures in the high twenties, just about enough for us wimpy Brits!
