Say Cheese!

This Painted Turtle looks like it is smiling. It actually had spotted the pond and had livened up considerably.  Driving, we spotted this turtle on the side of the road trying to get up over the curb.  No idea why it was heading towards the train tracks...

It had remained docile until shortly before it was released into the pond.  Handsome fella  ; )

Looks like we are in for some rain now.  That's ok...we all need a little rain now and then.  Hope you all had fantastic Sundays  : ))
