Signs of brightness

New Orleans had monsoon rain this afternoon. The streets flooded and visibility went down to nothing. We had to pick up a rental car and waited in the office until the rain started to ease a little before venturing out.

We had to drive to Baton Rouge. Driving out of New Orleans, some of the streets were flooded almost up to the level of the bottom of the doors. My colleague took this shot on my phone when we saw the first bit of brightness ahead of us. It was sunny again by the time we got to Baton Rouge.
