Mono Monday: Baked?

I was a bit lost when trying to interpret today’s theme, and maybe I still am.  But with the help of the synonyms provided by Laurie, I saw a way out.  Maybe..

This is the Malbork Castle in Poland.  It was built in the 13th century by the Teutonic Knights, a German Roman Catholic religious order of crusaders.  Maybe the knights at some time on their crusades went berserk?  No? OK I rest my case.
