Cones

15.1C with some haze but mostly sunny. Moderate then light ESE/SE/E/NW/WNW breeze.
The above temperature was reported for Campbeltown airport.
Prestwick reports 19.8C which, I would say, is more like how it felt in town here.

I took Fergus to the Vet's at 9am. He got his boosters and was pronounced fit as a fiddle.

Fergus and I went for our walk after lunch. We went round to the harbour, had a wander round the old quay, then went along by the park and Kilkerran road to Glenramskill House. There have been lots of Gannets diving in the loch for the last week or so. Most out in the channel by Davaar island, but some right in the loch.

We came back the same way then along the street side of the park and came home through town passing the town hall and the bookshop (closed, but I did see the owner heading towards the shop). By the time we got home it felt really hot. Fergus waited in as shady a spot as there is in our garden while I quickly cleared weeds which have appeared in the small area where we had conifers removed a while ago
