Island hopping

Hopped my way via the barriers up from S. Ronaldsay to Orphir this morning for sewing and then met LH for lunch. Sounds v civilised up to that point but then we hopped back and returned to another final wrestle with the r***y water feature (it'll do, Pig) and a gentle infilling of earth around it so as not to upset the water feature gods again. (I'm wondering if the god(dess) in question is Poppydog as she headed straight over to drink from the disgusting muddy water and in so doing leant on the side panel ... :-0 ). I did get some plants in (hooray!!) and hopefully tomorrow I'll get the remainder planted and then can keep an eye on them for a week before we disappear south.

Last evening with sewing here; everyone is at a different stage with their project so when we reconvene in a couple of months we will then have a quick photo opportunity. To be honest, I was concentrating on setting things up for them and forgot to take a pic! Ah well!
