Sunset in Cuba

I had a frustrating day at work; it was one of those days when nothing I did worked, and not always because I was doing things wrong. In the end I got so exasperated that I picked up the camera and went out for a walk. Good choice: I explored a whole area of Begur I hadn't found before, and which will be a rich source of future blips.

I've mentioned the casas indianas before. This one has a lovely ground floor verandah, with a terrace above it. I can imagine the residents sitting in their cane chairs, glass of rum in hand, dreaming of Cuba. The ironwork grille on the door is very typical of Begur; almost all the older houses have balcony railings and grilles in this style.
