Axolotl Preservation

The plight of the Axolotl was raised on the TV this morning, they are in serious decline in their native habitat in Mexico.

Here is my own contribution to the population, courtesy of the book from which I made the mouse (in the extra photo) for the Flumlet, Knit Your Own Pet, by Sally Muir and Joanna Osborne.

 The axolotl was begun at New Year but the news prompted me to finish only today. It will then live with Miss Flum, who commissioned the project.
