Glen Moriston

Thankfully the leg was much better today with just the odd twinge.

Working out Glenmoristom way today. Its funny, depending on where you live there are certain sections of road you are unlikely ever to use unlress you have a specific need to go there. Roy Bridge based examples are the A9 between Dalwhinnie and Kingussie. If you are heading south to Perth you will join the A9 at Dalwhinnie, north say Aviemore, Tomatin then you will join the A9 at Kingussie thus the 15 mile hypotenuse is seldom visited

Like wise we have the A887 Glenmoriston section Bun Loyne to Invermoriston. Heading to Kyle or the north west you join this road at Bun Loyne and heading to Inverness you simply drive past its junction with the A82 at Invermoriston.

Anyway we had a busy little day here in Glenmoriston, While it was sunny and bright elsewhere the mist barely lifted here and there was no startling blip opportunities. I stopped beside the village hall on the way home and took this shot down the leafy gorge of the River Moriston.
