MV Isle of Arran, Campbeltown Loch, 7.30am

14.6C with sunny sunshine all day. Light W/WSW/WNW/NW breeze.
The above temperature was reported for Campbeltown airport, and isn't representing temperatures on this side of the peninsula at the moment. Prestwick reports 21.0C.

This morning Fergus and I went across the park to Dalintober to watch the ferry leave at 7.35am. On time today. Photo just before the port workers came along the quay to cast her off.

After lunch Fergus and I went for a walk out to the old shipyard and wandered out the shore path almost to Macringan's Point. Two or three fishing boats and a couple of yachts came in across the loch while we were walking. We had a little sit down at Slaty Farlan to watch a lovely older style pale blue wooden yacht come in through the channel and passing the diving Gannets.

On the Clip while walking:
2 episodes of BBC radio 3's The Verb podcast with Ian McMillan (poet, author, playwright, and broadcaster).

Night Meetings Japan

Afternoon music ... Van Morrison, Avalon Sunset and Moondance.
