A little rain shower

We left home later than we wanted to come to North Carolina to meet up with the family for the afternoon and then go to supper. Just as we left the house to go to Tennessee where the restaurant was( I know you are wondering why we were going to TN..It is only about 10 miles from my son's house)..It started raining. We traveled in the rain until we got to the restaurant, no rain! The place was a small house, Italian and the most wonderful pasta ever. We had a family special, choice of three entrees to share plus an appetizer, bread, plus dessert. It was costly but so worth it...except for my hubby, the carnivore..he said he really needed more meat!

After we get back to son's house we walked around the farm. The peonies were blooming along the side of the house..so pretty with their waterdrops!

A long day and I am still fighting this cold. The bed is calling my name.

Tomorrow is my granddaughters graduation. The years have just gone by too fast. She is so smart and will be attending the local university, Appalachian State in the fall. So proud of her for being in the top ten of her class.
