Over the ridge, round the windmill and back through a wildly overgrown footpath with nettles and grass over 6' tall.  I felt a bit like Alice in Wonderland.

There are two female woodpeckers vying for the peanuts, so it's a good job the neighbours have a nut feeder as well.  I can hear a juvenile but haven't spotted one yet.
