Fireworks

Well what else could it be on the fifth of November?

I always watch our local fireworks from the garden, in the past with Splodge our cat who is sadly no longer with us, but who was never afraid of the noise. Mr A stayed in the warm to make sure that Dougal and Florence were okay. He has blipped one of my pictures, which you can see here if you are interested.

The fireworks this year were not as good, in my opinion, as they usually are and the finale was rubbish. However, it was not as cold as usual which was a bonus.

This year they were a celebration of the Queen's Jubilee and the Olympics, which is why I have chosen this particular blip which contains red, white and blue. The music did include Chariots of Fire, but not the National Anthem. They also remembered the 100 year anniversary of the Titanic by playing the music from the film.
