Temple of Athena

Our campsite is about 2km from the Paestum archeological site which we visited today.

It was really hot but absolutely fascinating to see the three amazingly well preserved Greek Temples as well as a Roman street and houses similar to those at Pompeii.

We were lucky that it was really quiet today although that didn't stop a portly German gentleman creeping into most of my shots.

We feel a bit like we are sitting on a time bomb as we discovered that the water we filled our drink bottles from this morning is "non potable".   Oh yes - the motorhome toilet has gone wrong too.   Could be interesting.   So far we are feeling fine.
