1326. Pressie from Australia

My dear lovely sister sent us a parcel all the way from Australia yesterday....we were full of excitement when we opened it because we knew it contained some hand painted wooden kangaroos...but had no idea it also had a boomerang which sits on the kangaroos! The kangaroos and the boomerang are a present for my grandson and he will love them!

When we were staying with my sister in 2016 we shopped at one of the many Ugg Boot shops and we both bought some amazing Ugg leg warmers...mine had koalas on them and hers had kangaroos on them.....well she’s never used hers, whereas mine were worn all winter....so she sent me her pair as she’s not using them and I love them!

It’s so tricky sending stuff between here and Australia because there are so many restrictions but these lovely surprise parcels always bring us closer together despite the distance between us...
