Lily pond

It was the first day for three weeks without work to do so I took advantage and made four venison cottage pies and then tried out a mincer/juicer that had been given to me.  It worked well making an apple, cherry and blueberry juice. The pulp left behind also tasted good so I will use that mixed into yoghurts. Today's walk took me back to the nature reserve where I had planned to capture some ducks in flight.  I thought I had the shot set up, crept up, made a noise for them to take off only to discover that I had the shutter speed set wrongly. You only get one chance!
