Scorchio!

Again!

So it was very pleasant to take a short boat ride and see the coastline from out in the deep blue sea. The boat had a magnifying-glass bottom through which we could see small fish swimming in and out of the versatile seaweed. The weed is still used by traditional islanders as stuffing for mattresses and other home furnishings, as well as a waterproof roofing material. It's also used in the production of slimming foods.

I've viewed these three boats that caught my eye from land and sea now! See Extra.

My other Extra shows little birds in a palm tree - either nesting and/or feeding. They looked sparrow-like - a male and female, I think - but don't know what species they are.
