Remembering World Cup 2010

Noticed all the media frenzy, re the start of the World Cup in Russia, today.

Sparked a little reminiscing. 

Picked up this scarf, along with a pair of cute "flag ears" for my car, as part of the World Cup celebrations.

Flag ears are no more.  Actually car is no more too.  

But the scarf lives on, warming the neck of one of my wooden giraffes.

Eish ! 

The giraffe needed the scarf today - it was decidedly nippy today.
