SEAT IN THE SUN

It may have been a stormy wind today, but the sun shone . . . coffee and cake were consumed with joy.
The Boro have a new football strip for next season . . . red and white with a horizontal white band, as in the miraculous 1986 season. As a gesture, a donation of money from each sale will go to support local needy children. Printed inside each shirt are the lyrics from Infant Hercules, by local band Cattle & Cane. A selection appears below and the full story is linked here.
Time for a real community feel.

Where I was born, I was raised . . .
Smoggie till the day I die, I love that haze across the sky
Where I was born, I was raised . . .
