Everyday I Write The Book

By Eyecatching

Hi-di-hi!

It was a bit like Butlins in the chalet of the pub garden tonight. Ms E had pigtails and the boys were as happy as a bunch of bluecoats. The Dizzle was in a particularly good mood as he is changing jobs and starts with a new team tomorrow. Although in the same building. And he is still in charge of the office World Cup sweepstake.

As for the WC itself, Robbie Williams proved yet again that he is nothing but a rich knobhead by flipping the bird into the camera during the musical warm up. And Russia stuffed a small Arab country, which was no surprise.

My day at work was better than yesterday (could hardly be worse) and I did a straight ten hours without repetition,  hesitation or deviation. Apart from doing some reading about pension options, a subject upon which which I am becoming an expert. We did observe a sobering 72 seconds silence for the 72 victims of Grenfell tower on this day last year. For some reason I had a flashback to watching the Aberfan tragedy on television as a child. Different era, same theme of neglect and lack of duty of care.

Lovely summer’s evening. Good that it’s friday tomorrow.
