Deadlines!

I've been sat over a hot computer for the last few days getting performers lined up for the next season of our Wednesday lunchtime concerts. The artwork has to be with our printer on Monday.
The bell for the last lap sounded at 5.00 pm so I was able to join my fellow "old devils" for our usual Friday beers before adjourning to the jazz club for The Andy Lawrenson Trio - a welcome variation from the usual New Orleans theme. The Trio of violin, guitar and double bass players sang and played a range of "gipsy jazz" quite brilliantly.
Last lap of artwork and proof approvals beckons in the morning.
