Raithby church after the rain

There has been no rain here for over a week. The BBC forecast showed a 90% chance of rain between 9 and 10 this morning. It did not rain. At lunchtime the forecast showed an 85% chance between 2 and 3 pm. It did not rain. We were going out this evening and the forecast showed virtually no possibility of rain. I spent an hour watering the vegetable garden.
You guessed. It poured down in the interval of the concert when food and drink was served from the tent in the graveyard. Mercifully the local shower extended as far as our garden.
