Under the overpass

Yesterday was world blood day and today I happened to be donating plasma.

That was the plan but part way through my body said no. It wasn't pleasant but I'm home and safe. Give me another 24 hours and I'll be fine.

I have a rare blood type, the same as Dad's. It's not often needed so donating plasma instead seemed like a good idea. It doesn't agree with with me so I'll go back to donating blood when the NZ Blood Service needs my type.

Today's gratitude: For knowing that the plasma I gave before my body said "no" looked great and will be used, once it's processed in Australia.
