On the Salty

The sun came out late in the day after it being a bit dull day with rain and drizzle at different times. I went down to Shaldon and the tide was very low so I could walk out on The Salty, the sand banks in the estuary, among the boats. It always feels to me like a good place to be.

I particularly liked this tidy craft and it made a good composition with the boats, the cottages and the Ness behind.
