Work, home for lunch and then to visit Jeanie. I took hr outside as the sun was shining, and she enjoyed looking at the bees that were busy with the lavender and hebes that surround the care home. A carer brought out tea and cake for us, today, cupcakes iced and then with popcorn on top.
When we went back inside we played with the new Tovertafel, an interactive table. Jeanie stayed quite upbeat today, and I managed a quick get away without tears.
Back home to paint the floor of the bike store with the bikes indoors. Then a quick shower and got ready to go to an old school re union. It was great to see so many staff all together again, nearly 45 people came and it instantly felt like we were together again as the old scholl family that we used to be.The ex caretaker took to the mike to wow us with some songs, ( he was on Britains Got Talent a while ago) and a pair of share the same last last name, (Goddard), became the Godettes for the evening too, with a great rendition of Love Shack. We all mucked in and tidied away at the end of the night. Boy was I tired by midnight after being up at 5.30.
