tempus fugit

By ceridwen

It's complicated

...being a crane fly.

This one was trapped inside the window until I let it out to pursue its short-lived pleasures. Unusually, it appeared to have its full complement of legs.

If the paintwork looks a little spotty, it's because I  follow the principal of the 18/19thC. Japanese haiku poet Kobayashi Issa  who paid attention to all small creatures:

Don't worry, spiders,
I keep house
casually.

NB Craneflies are not spiders.
