Cavalcade

An excellent Talyllyn gala day with large crowds and full trains.  My two trips as guard were almost fully loaded, many happy passengers and great fun to work a busy train, reminding me of my youth when the railway was at it's busiest - before the days of cheap foreign holidays.  The day closed with a cavalcade of all six steam locos, closely followed by the four diesels, a spectacular sight.

A lovely surprise made the day extra special when Ruth arrived from Birmingham for an overnight visit.  Great to see her :-)
