Mad busy day. Today was the last time Max went to the German Saturday School and the end of an era for us - we've been going there for 9 years now since we have come back to Edinburgh. It was good fun and kept us all busy. We now need to figure out what we do with our Saturday mornings. Then we went to Max's last primary summer school fair. Unfortunately, it was inside as it threatened to be wet. We still managed to get some lovely curry and had an ice cream. Onward, to a friend's 50th birthday. We had to go along the canal to get there and stopped for the canal festival for a bit. We watched a group of dry swimmers with some bemusement. So far, the weather held up. However, the heavens opened on the last bit to the birthday party and we got reasonably wet. Ah well, nothing some cake and beer couldn't fix. We got home to leave again for dinner and games at friends. So, all in all, a very social day.
