Today was just wonderful.

I have been looking for a "project" to aid in my recovery which doesn't cost money but lets me do something I love.

I have decided to accompany a very dear long-time friend on her rounds as a farm animal vet and eventually bring it all together in a sort of "Year In The Life..." type thing.

Today we visited a livery yard and I photographed Anne vaccinating, sedating and clipping, rasping teeth etc..... Took me back to my days as a student "seeing practice" with Anne and my 10 years in farm animal practice doing these things myself.

A few of the photos from today could have been Blippable but the sunset on the way home stole the show.... It had been a dreich kind of day but it ended with the most amazing and beautiful colours....
