I have always taken photos - lots of photos.
Friends over the years have laughed at me but as years go by, I am the one with the memories in the shoeboxes and albums.
Obviously, as the children arrived, the number of photos grew and as the digital era arrived, it became so much easier (and cheaper) to experiment and take more photos - no more "saving" the last 3 or 4 photos on the film "just in case"!
Photography is now my main hobby although, with three children and a business to help run, I don't get the time to develop it much.
I take photos of anything.
I love landscape but don't have the time to pursue it much apart from jumping out of the car en route to kids' activities.
I love photos of my family at play and due to the nature of my job, am blessed to be able to photograph many wonderful animals.
Blipping has made me look at things in a different way and has made me challenge myself photographically.

I hope you enjoy my journal.

I Blipped continually for 3 years, after a period of ill-health - 1095 consecutive days - stopping in July 2015.

I've restarted on occasion, but have never felt the need to revisit the daily endeavour. I've never stopped taking photos but sometimes the pleasure evades me.

So, if you see me on occasion, stop by to say hello!
