When Fergus went to Ardmair

(and saw Ben Mor Coigach)

Cloudier today with a hint of rain in the morning.
We drove out to Ardmair for a walk by the sea and the views of Isle Martin, the Summer Isles, and Ben Mor Coigach. MV Loch Seaforth made its way out through the Summer Isles on its way to Stornoway about 11am on a calm sea. Podcast of BBC radio 4's Word of Mouth, with the excellent Michael Rosen in the chair. Andrew Graham Dixon On The Naming Of Art Movements - which I thought Apothecary7 would like.

Back to Ullapool for lunch from the Seafood shack, which we ate at the picnic table in the garden of our holiday cottage.

Quiet afternoon pottering about Ullapool.
Called in at Ceard to introduce Fergus then on to Cabinet at An Talla Solais to pick up some postcards by Charlotte Watters.

Afternoon tea at the Ceilidh Place. Their outdoor space is dog friendly.
I popped into the bookshop too.
