Bread of heaven!

A brilliant, fun day of baking for a friend and colleague's celebration of impending maternity leave. We started by making chocolate bread!
I'm not a self-professed baker but really enjoyed it except for the times we had to handle the goods when mixing!
We finished with a lovely afternoon tea before going our separate ways. I made a slight planning error and ended up carrying what felt like the weight of a baby all the way across town to the bestest friend's to deliver a birthday card to her gorgeous little boy!
The Other-half kindly drove over to collect me to complete the food shop before a nght in front of the TV, having turned down a lovely offer to spend the evening at a friend's.
