Basil Goes FIFA

A break from the peonies, although I'm still in awe at them and continuing to take photographs.

Open Church coffee morning where flowers were still on display from the Flower Festival from the preceding Patronal Festival weekend. Some very innovative displays as well.

As you can see, Basil accompanied me. Bounded up the sanctuary step and halted at Dilip's lovely display. He looks as if he's reading something, that turns out to be the guide to the World Cup. I suppose it had to happen. The footy's on all the time at home.

We popped over to see Sue for the first time in ten weeks and had a long chat.

Then to Leicester in the evening where we stopped at Michelle's for a cuppa and then on to George and Kat's to babysit Will. He'd had to have Calpol for a back tooth coming through. The parents managed to escape for a dinner date pizza to celebrate their second wedding anniversary.
