Bawden

So I was wandering through the Edward Bawden exhibition at the Dulwich Picture Gallery this morning. I didn't have long. I just love his stuff. Its comic and touching and detailed. 

While I was in there I encountered Peter Avery who was Bawden's assistant for a while. We had a good chat about the work of the Bardfield Group and I thought I just had to get his picture.

Its a great show if you get round to getting there.
