EIFF

Out at lunchtime down to the cafe at Cramond to meet up with ‘er auntie Joan for said aunt’s 92nd - along with said aunt’s son, the affable and voluble ex-PC character.
Later I took MrB off for a cycle, including dropping off the iPhone at the Apple Shop. A new battery for £25 and it’s as good as new. Except that they can’t change the battery (some are glued in more than others???) so instead a new 64Gb SE is mine. Well, yahoo indeed, but the next 12 hours are spent restoring the effing settings. And losing the last 24 hours worth of snaps.
On to a movie at the Filmhouse as part of EIFF - a late replacement/submission - Cold War by Pawel Pawlikowski. Just absolute perfection - the most beautiful film I’ve seen for a long long time.
