Not Going With The Flow

Lovely to spot this handsome male banded demoiselle in Butterfly Alley this afternoon. We haven't any flowing water on our property which these insects like to frequent so I rarely see them at home. 

I photographed my first ringlet butterfly of 2018. I've been looking forward to seeing them and will enjoy trying to get decent shots in the coming days.
