Look West

A day of sorting at J’s Mum’s flat. We all ended the day in a reflective mood.

Heading back to our BnB we had a stretch on the cliff top. Sea thrift was still in flower - although much of it has seeded (extra).

Evening meal at the Raft Rocks. It was good. After we walked a short stretch of the shingle bank leading to Hurst Castle.

The most fantastic sunset, it just kept changing - I took loads of phone photos, and have chosen this one. I loved the sky reflections in Sturt Pond.

We spent a lot of time talking to a lady who had lived in Bournemouth for 21 years, but never been here or to nearby Milford. She was also ooohing and aaahing at the sunset. Turned out she was from Sheffield, not far from J’s hometown. A lot of Yorkshire conversation ensued.

Time for some well deserved sleep.
