A different view

A fine walk along the seafront from Seasalter to Tankerton via Whitstable on a glorious afternoon. It was low tide which exposed a feature called "The Street" a long narrow shingle ridge extending perpendicular to the beach out into the sea.

I've known about The Street for years, I've no idea how it was formed and I've never been on it. Today, the tide was low enough to walk, along with many others some 400 metres out from the beach so getting a different view of the beach huts of Tankerton.

Busy all along the coast here, with people walking, cycling, sitting, eating, drinking and generally enjoying the fine weather. The extra is a view of The Street from the prom.
