DIY SOS!

Spent the day at Daughter Number 2's (with DN1) so we could make a start on clearing the garden. She lives in a Maisonette in Croydon but asked permission from the downstairs neighbours to clear the whole garden to make it one big one and they kindly agreed. 

We worked really hard - all except the 2 watching football! We didn't need to watch it - we could hear every single goal that was scored from the screams from inside!!

Still alot to do in the garden including turfing, decking and relaying the patio but she has a very helpful-builder-father-in-law so hopefully he will chip in too.

Home now and in my PJ's with a cuppa and a bar of chocolate!
