"Part Of The River"

.....This is just part of the River Murray just a wander away from our home with the mighty river Red Gum trees standing serene, seemingly keeping watch and waiting for the next flood to come by...these gum trees are very old, and not the largest...

The 100 year old steam-powered paddle boat PS MELBOURNE travels daily past this location with tourists, to where it turns around and heads back to the Mildura wharf to deposit it's passengers and to pick up many more.
The river red gums are unique to the Murray-Darling Basin, that is, the names of 2 rivers which form a huge drainage system, ending many hundreds of miles away, out to the sea.
The 2 rivers pass through 3 States in Australia.
