RED-BILLED GULL (Larus novaehollandiae)

This morning I found this red-billed gull feeding a youngster - it must have been late bred.fom last season. It was giving its parent heaps begging for a square breakfast. Red-billed gulls are very common around the coasts but dont venture too far inland. Its noticable that the young ones bill and legs are darker but will mature as it gets older.  A Nice encounter.
