Man on a Cherry Picker

A day of activity at Maison MD. Many years ago I planted a windbreak of Leylandii - and they grew, and grew, and grew (see extra).  They were pruned over the years by both BT and Yorkshire Electricity because their cables go through them.  This time it was the turn of Northern Power Grid.
They took about 12 ft off the top of them so that they don't interfere with their cables.  Lots of noise, chainsaws and shredders.  Now I need to get a local firm of arborists/tree surgeons to tidy them up and do a bit more pruning lower down.
