Life through the lens...

I didn't want to zoom in too much with this shot as I wanted to give the ambiance of the scene on market day in Nyons. The buildings being so typical of Provence, although Nyons is actually in the Drome.
You may just be able to see the little girl dancing to the music of the guitars.
I think it has to be our favourite now. Wish we had brought Jennie here as it is not as touristy as Vaison's Tuesday Market.
Many more local people, and more local food and craft stalls.

I made a collage of the stalls etc. . and have put it on as an extra.
You can see the trout man. ( Not for the squeamish! )
The piles of melons from Cavallion.
Garlic of course, and lots of different tomatoes.

Also an extra of our coffee stop.
The terrace of the newly refurbished cafe over hanging the Eygues river, beside the Roman Bridge. Nice new comfy sofas.
Mr C feeling a bit jaded in the heat! It is such a busy market we had to park along the road into town and walk about half a mile.

Another beautiful evening to end the day.
As you can guess Mr C is watching the football.
Our neighbours in the next gite are from Belgium. As both they and England are through to the next round, I don't think the result is too crucial.

Many thanks once again for your kind comments hearts and stars.

I have also put an extra on of Marius playing in the water when we met up with them on Tuesday. Needless to say got rather wet, but had great fun.
