Market

Kendal is full of alleyways called yards and hidden away surprises. Today I found this indoor market with two stalls selling Kendal mint cake. Another sells haberdashery bits and bobs which will be useful for craft projects when the rain starts and I am stuck indoors. No sign of the rain yet. Realised I had forgotten my camera so shelved the plan to walk round the Kendal sculpture trail ( don't get too excited, I think its carvings in the woods) and went home to escape the sun.  Wood carvings or whatever it is can wait for another day
