I went to visit Jeanie this afternoon with Keith. We took her outside again, (we keep having sunny Fridays). We did a bit of gardening with her, and talked about the plants in the vegetable raised beds and gave them all some water. Then we sat in the shade and shared Gardeners World magazine, as she likes looking at the pictures. Then another relative arrived with a dog, who was shared around all the residents. Jeanie came alive whilst the little dog happily sat on her knee for a fuss, (she even growled when one of the carers tried to take her elsewhere, and apparently she never growls!). A carer said that Jeanie had a bad day and did not eat yesterday, but today she tucked into a slice of cake and ate it all.  I came home and had dinner in the garden with my book, an Anne Bronte that was Dad's, The tenant of Wildfell Hall, (dad loved reading all the Bronte sister books).
