Summer in the Borders

A quiet day. I took this on the way to Kelso to buy yeast. Our local Co-op stocks it, but no-one knew where it was!  

I hope the ginger ale that TM needed it for is going to be worth the 30 mile trip!  

It is a lovely evening. The countryside looks serene, full of promise.  But everything is so dry, spray irrigation has begun. And the mist is rolling in tonight.  

I hope it lasts just a little bit longer.
