Open Gardens

Still feeling sore but managed a slow walk around the village with Elaine to vist some of the Open Gardens event.
Think the walking did me good and we had two refreshment stops along the way.

Tea, and a scone with cream for the first stop and coffee and lemon drizzle at the final garden we called at.
Saw this butterfly along the way.
We also bought some homemade bunting each.
All proceeds went to the Air Ambulance so we put some money in the tin in every garden we visited.
As we passed the church next to the village green a newly married couple were just getting into their wedding car so l took a quick snap to try and show you the dreamy andfloaty feel of her dress and veil.
Putting a bottle of prosecco in the fridge and will be sat in my own garden this evening partaking in a glass or two.
