Here's one I made earlier

Campanula raineri bloomin' perfect in a trough.  Actually a trough made by a friend and a Birthday gift from Jacinta some years ago.  I raised the campanula from seed a couple or years ago.  Last year a combination of rain and slugs meant it's glory was short-lived - this year the heat may mean a similarly short display.  It's a sometimes tricky plant, often grown with protection but I have two of these, in different troughs sited close to the house in a sheltered spot.  

After basketball, lunch and some indoor chores I cleaned up the rough edges and brushed off loose fragments on my two new troughs. made earlier this week.  The fun of making two more miniature alpine gardens lies ahead  :-)
