Demolished!

Another hot day but F and I decided to do a favourite walk although we didn't go as far as usual as the heat drained our energy.

When we got a short way in we saw that a lot of hedges and trees had been removed and that the beautiful mossy stone wall had been demolished. It was very solid so it couldn't have been a health and safety issue, it looked as though the farmer had opened it up to enlarge the field. 

We were very sad about this as it must have been at least 400 years old and would have been home to many creatures and plants.
