Bigotry

We have had a few weeks of galas and pageants and sunshine. Many a marching band. All great fun. 

Unfortunately today we encountered this display of religious hatred. Gladly they were almost outnumbered by the police presence. No town needs this sort of blatant aggression. I despair that the council condones this by allowing a permit.

I speak from experience. One of my grandfathers was an orangeman. Fortunately it stopped there. From a very young age I knew all that pent up anger was seriously wrong. 

This marching nonsense is so politically incorrect, why do we as a society put up with it?

If there is one thing I can't stand it's intolerance.
